Hi all,

My mom’s b16 nissan sentra has some sort of fluid leaking from in the dash on to the pedals.

It’s yellow in color and about the consistency of coolant. The coolant in the car is green, and the heater core is below the leak, so it isn’t coolant. Anyone have any ideas?

Sounds like blinker fluid, you can fix this leak by selling that Sentra.

Brake fluid is yellowish and has that same oily consistency as coolant. It’s possible for a leaking master cylinder to cause leaks into the cabin through the pedal rod.

I’d suggest checking (and keeping an eye on) the brake fluid level to see if you’re losing any fluid. Brake hydraulic leaks are a serious matter.
